We had quite an eventful weekend for Valentine's Day weekend. Friday afternoon, Andrew woke up to snow...a lot of it!!! We had about 3 inches that fell late Friday afternoon and he had a BLAST playing in the white stuff. It was pretty wet, so we had to go inside and watch the Olympics and wait to really play the next morning.
The next morning Mama and Dada woke up to Andrew vomiting and not feeling very good. He said, "Mama, my tummy says: (start little voice) I need a doctor!" We tried taking him to quick care but they were closed due to the weather, so we ended up at the ER. He got lots of fluids and immediately felt better. His IV was placed in his hand and once the tubes were removed he said, "I have a Buzz Lightyear laser!" He started shooting his laser at us! When we got in the car to go home, almost all the snow was gone...so we didn't get much of a chance to play. By that night he was feeling all better so we found a bit of snow at Brenau and sled down the hill over and over again! He had a blast!!!!!!!!!!
On Sunday, Pop Pop came up to take Andrew to breakfast and Andrew came home beaming and told us, "I had a great time!"
We spent the day out as a family. We went bowling, fishing, shopping...and just enjoyed each other's company. When we left Target that evening, Andrew asked us where we were going next. By the time we got home, he fell right to sleep.
I guess he was feeling blessed and full of love! <3
