So on Thursday, January 7th, the sky opened up and it SNOWED! I could hardly contain myself. During Andrew's first snow, January 2008, he was sick inside with RSV and could not come out to see and play in the winter wonderland. Last year it snowed while we were at Disney, so I was so excited we would be home for this snow. Of course, he was napping when the snow started falling, but by the time he woke up, it was finally sticking!

Andrew's initial reaction, "*deep inhale,* It's Christmas!!!! Santa's coming!!!!! Yes, we are still stuck on the Santa thing! Our son REALLY loves Santa Claus! We had to go out an play in the initial snow. I bundled him up and we ran out. He started tasting the snow and looked at me and said, "It tastes like sugar!"

Friday was a snow day for everyone in North Georgia. The roads froze over the evening which according to my dad, left the interstate on ramps looking like the ice capades. We decided to bundle Andrew up in last year's ski bibs, long underwear, sweaters and any other barrier to keep him warm. It reminded me of the scene from
A Christmas Story, you know the one, Randy: "I can't put my arms down!" Mom: "You can put your arms down when you get to school!"
We walked over to Sara and Patricks and spent the afternoon playing the Wii and keeping warm. Andrew got a chance to make a snow angel--his Grandpa Benson's request! I think the snow angel actually killed the "snow is fun" attitude. Now he just wants to avoid the snow because it gets him wet.
